A note from the founder
The Story Behind Rivex
I have spent 15+ years building software and 10+ years building businesses around it. During that time, I have worked across web services, mobile products, game development, and the internal systems that keep growing companies running.
At 17, I built and released my earliest commercial product. Working independently, I developed a mobile 3D game that reached the top charts of its app store. That experience taught me what it means to take full responsibility for a product, from the original idea and technical decisions to the moment real people start using it.
Later, I became a co-founder of a game development studio that grew into a large team. As CTO, I built the company’s technical function. I hired and mentored engineers, established code review practices, and prepared developers to become team leads.
I also led the development of an interactive narrative project that attracted investment from a publisher, expanded into international versions, and was eventually acquired in full by the investor.
When growth creates operational complexity
As the studio grew, building its products was no longer the only challenge. The company also needed reliable ways to manage finances, forecast performance, organise human resources, understand project economics, and allocate people across the business.
These processes could no longer depend on disconnected tools, manually assembled spreadsheets, and information scattered across different teams.
I initiated and launched internal platforms that digitised the studio’s financial, forecasting, and human resources processes. These systems gave the company a clearer operational picture and created a stronger foundation for further growth. The studio later completed a transaction with a strategic investor.
That experience changed how I think about internal operations.
The systems behind a company may not be visible to its customers, but they directly affect how quickly its leaders can understand what is happening, make decisions, and respond when the market changes.
Why Rivex exists
I founded Rivex to help other companies solve the same kind of operational problems.
We build integrations, automate processes, and create internal platforms for international clients. Our work focuses on the financial and operational side of a business, where disconnected systems and repeated manual work create delays that grow with the company.
Rivex has been profitable from its earliest contracts. The company is built around an engineering team that handles the difficult part of integration work, including unreliable APIs, conflicting data, unusual formats, and edge cases that appear only after a system has been running for months.
For me, successful automation is not something that works only in a demonstration. It must remain reliable through repeated use and continue creating value after implementation.
We automate ourselves first
We apply the same principle to our own company.
Before recommending that clients rebuild their processes around AI, we redesigned our own development workflows around it. We approached this as an operational investment, not as a trend.
Every change had to answer practical questions. What problem does it solve? How much time does it save? What does it cost to implement? How quickly will the investment pay back? Can the result be measured?
This is what we mean when we say that we automate ourselves first.
We test new methods in our own work, learn where they create real value, and only then apply those lessons to client operations.
Let’s look at your operations
If reporting takes weeks, important information lives in separate systems, or your team repeatedly handles processes that should already be automated, we can start by looking at where time is being lost.
Your initial conversation is directly with me. During a diagnostic call lasting 45 minutes, we will identify the most important gaps in your operations and estimate what they are costing your team in working hours.
After the call, you will receive a concise 1-page summary of the 3 most important issues we identified.
